Apr 26, 2020 HOUSTON TO HOST 2020 XFL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME HOUSTON, February 13, 2020 – The XFL, the Harris County - Houston Sports Authority and the University of Houston today announced at a news conference that Houston, Texas, and TDECU Stadium on the U of H campus will host the league’s championship game on Sunday, April 26, 2020. Dec 04, 2020 The championship game had been in question since the league decided to cancel Week 4 due to COVID-19 infections among the players. Originally scheduled for December 2nd, The league decided that the best course of action was to take extra time off to ensure the health of all player and coaches involved, before preparing for the game.
